Eighteen members of Leigh Ornithological Society took the trip northwards on the M6 on the second Sunday of the month to RSPB Leighton Moss. This time of year brings a lot of the visitors to the site as one of the attractions is the resident Bearded Tits are using the grit trays provided for them. The males in particular showing off their handsome plumage. Thank you to our Field Trip Officer Keith Williams for organising the event and to all the participants.
